A Guide to Current Events From HopeLine

Here at HopeLine, we recognize that the events in the world have brought up many challenging questions and feelings for us, and for those around us. It causes us to ask questions, seek out information, and want to know why things are happening. There’s so much information available, and sometimes it’s hard to know where to start. HopeLine has put together a short resource list for those who are interested in learning more about these heavy topics, and are struggling to know where to begin.

This article explains exactly what’s been going on, why the Black Lives Matter (BLM) movement was founded, and what sparked the protests across the country.

Anti-Racism Resource Guide

This article includes a detailed list of things that individuals can do when it comes to racial justice to educate themselves and also work to bring about change in their community.

This article from the Good Good Good Co. covers a variety of anti-racism resources from various articles, books, films, and videos for audiences to educate themselves. It also includes resources for parents to actively raise their children with an anti-racist mindset.

HopeLine is not a political organization, we serve as a crisis intervention and suicide prevention hotline that also provides resources for various needs. HopeLine is not paid or endorsed to share these resources but have found them personally helpful to further strengthen our knowledge as an organization, increase empathy for racial and social injustice, and supporting all people in all communities.
