Twenty-Four Hour Crisis Line - HopeLine offers a free 24 hour crisis line for Triangle residents. We also accept calls from outside the Triangle as well. Callers will speak with a trained crisis counselor. Crisis counselors are trained to take calls such as immediate suicide, third party/non emergency suicide, child abuse, domestic violence, sexual assault, mental health, interpersonal relationships, sexual issues, and substance abuse. Crisis counselors will provide best practices for all clients. Crisis counselors will also provide referrals for callers when needed or requested.
Teen TalkLine — We offer teens an opportunity to talk to trained volunteers about important issues in their lives 24 hours a day.
Reassurance Calls to Seniors — We make brief "check-in" calls to senior citizens who are continuing to live independently with little or no daily contact with others. These daily calls provide reassurance and a reminder that there is a compassionate person who cares and is willing to listen.
Educational Programs on HopeLine Services, active listening, depression and suicide, especially among teens.
Please call the business office for more information and to request a speaker for your group.
